Rishi is a firm advocate of justice, fairness, and equality. Rishi is a recognized lawyer in Ontario, Canada and Queensland, Australia. Previously, Rishi had the honour and privilege to serve as a Prosecutor for the Queensland Police Service. Rishi was able to help numerous victims obtain justice for their losses and gained valuable advocacy experience, attending court on a daily basis. Despite his passion for advocacy and the courtroom, Rishi understands and appreciates the importance of negotiating disputes and working with the other side on a good faith basis. Rishi has a keen interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution processes and obtained his Master of Laws in Advance Dispute Resolution.
Rishi returned back to Ontario in the summer of 2019 and joined Tkatch & Associates as an Articling Student soon after. Rishi is passionate about all practice areas of the law, and has taken a keen interest in the area of personal injury. He is happy to assist with any questions you may have in relation to your accident or legal matter.
Rishi is also enthusiastic about the community and its well-being. During law school, he assisted the local Robina Community Legal Centre, offering pro bono services to members of the community. He is also a long-standing volunteer with the Canadian Blood Services Canada and has been recognized for his volunteer efforts with the Canadian College of Family Physicians. Rishi is eager to enhance his contribution to the community while working as an associate.
Outside the office, Rishi enjoys going to the gym, playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and is an avid Manchester United supporter.
